Field measurement and customer credibility are two costly, non productive time consumers for radiant heating and cooling contractors, utility weatherization personnel, and any one involved in trying to answer customer concerns involving product or installations where temperature and/or moisture impact performance. The RAYTEK gun can quickly and easily spot hydronic, motor, comfort and other temperature differentials for analysis or performance validation.
The RAYTEK hand held non-contact thermometer accurately measures temperatures of 0° to 750° F at distances of up to l0 feet. Three models with equal performance are available: the workhorse, basic ST2L model; the ST4P, which adds emissivity adjustment, high/low alarm, and temperature C/F conversion and range memory; and the ST6LS, which adds laser sighting, class 2 laser. All come with a hard case and a pouch carrying kit is offered for $30. All units are equally accurate although the higher priced units extend the base temperature range to encompass -4° F to 932° F.
