Panel Construction
HEATING ELEMENT:
Solid State, uniform resistance (ohms/square) over entire conductive surface, 120° C maximum surface
temperature. Safe to touch.
Finish: Ceiling-white flame resistant lightly textured finish is standard. Panels may be over-painted with water based Acrylic paint. (Note: Clean or paint panels with thermostat/circuit breaker in ‘off’ position only until completely dry).
EXTERNAL WIRING: Panels provided with two (2) strain relieved 8" No. 14 AWG, Type AWM 105 UL/CSA leads.
WIRING COMPARTMENT: Panels require 2" x 4" x 2" metal extension ring with cover plate for quick attachment to mounting plate on rear of panel. Specify Model RPD for application to cement slab ceiling or use with surface wire raceway. Optional Wiring: 39" Greenfield available.
INSULATING SUBSTRATE: ENERJOY SOLID STATE RADIANT PANEL shall be constructed of insulated Solid State Heating Element, backed with one-inch thick, high density, odorless fiberglass insulation. MOUNTING HARDWARE: All RP panels require anchors or mounting screws for attachment to standard drywall, plaster ceilings, wood or other surfaces. Place directly in standard suspended ceilings.
Operating Characteristics
SURFACE TEMPERATURE: 180° -400° F (82.2° C-116° C) Nominal, uniform across entire heating element surface. Rise Time to Operating Temperature: 4 minutes (maximum).
RADIANT OUTPUT HORIZONTAL: 90-98% of input energy. All radiant energy from an Enerjoy® Panel is totally safe, low temperature. Wave length: 7-10 microns.

PANEL OPERATING CONTROL: Solid State TSSHC-2D diaphragm line voltage, Digital line voltage TSSHC-3D or programmable TSSHC-3D-2/4 or -3DP-2 or 4; Low voltage TSSHC-1LV; or TSSHC-3ILAS-2 or -4 or -3ILRS-2 or -4 remote sensor energy management control systems.
