SPECIFICATIONS

PANEL CONSTRUCTION:

CASING: 24 gauge, corrosion resistant steel casing with perimeter 7/16” heat loss reduction flange. 

HEATING ELEMENT: Uniform temperature over entire conductive surface, rate 221°F (105°C) for low watt density and 405°F (207°C)for high watt density maximum element surface temperature.

FINISH: Heatmodules textured with ceiling-white flame resistant finish.  May be special ordered with smooth finish. Quality water base, acrylic or latex paint may be field applied; Keep circuit breaker in off position until completely dry.

EXTERNAL WIRING: 36” long metal conduit with 14 AWG wires. RPFS supplied with 4” octagonal box or 42" long metal conduit;

INSULATION: Minimum l ½”, 4.2 lb. density fiberglass

MOUNTING HARDWARE: Assembly screws provided with RPCRM and RPCSM frame adapters; Mounting hardware not provided.

NOTE: Include on drawings a schedule of Heatmodule sizes and model numbers.

GENERIC: All radiant heat panels indicated on the drawing shall have 7/16” conductive heat loss reduction flange surrounding panel, corrosive resistant casing, contain minimum of l ½" thick 4.2 lb. density fiberglass, uniform temperature over entire frontal surface, and contain absolutely no asbestos, or other hazardous materials and shall meet or exceed the following, (select from the characteristics listed in SELECTIONS, as appropriate):

Front Surface Temperature: High watt density 270°F (130°C); low watt density 180°F (83°C). Nominal, uniform across entire surface

Back Surface Temperature: High watt density 90°F (32°C); low watt density 90° F (32°C).  Nominal across back surface.

Rise time to Operating Temperature: Eight (8) minutes maximum

Measured Radiant Component: 85% of input wattage minimum. Low temperature radiant energy from Enerjoy Heatmodules is totally safe; 7.8-1.4 Microns.

Finish:Shall have a textured (or smooth) surface and shall be ceiling-white in color, suitable to stand-alone or for overpainting with water based, high temperature paint as appropriate.

ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS Single phase resistive load.

CONTROL OPTIONS: Heatmodule operating control can be through Solid State TSSHC-2D line voltage, TSSHC-1LV low voltage, TSSHC-3D Digital.

WARRANTY: Five years for Production defects. No maintenance or field modifications may be made.
